Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Shenfu Injection in treatment of acute pancreatitis.Method:Using a random number table,43 cases of severe acute pancreatitis patients in January 2008 to January 2012 in our hospital were randomly devided into a control group of 22 cases given Western conventional treatment and a treatment group of 21 patients adding Shenfu Injection 100 mL by intravenous treatment for 7 d on the basis of the control group. The symptoms, signs, serum amylase, urine amylase, gastrointestinal function recovery and hospitalization time in two groups were compared. Results:The treatment group was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:Shenfu Injection can significantly improve symptoms, signs and physical and chemical indicators of patients with acute pancreatitis, shorten hospital stays, and improve the clinical efficacy.
