Abstract
【Objective】 To observe liver function influenced by transformation growth factor beta(TGF-beta),in hepatic fibrosis model SD rats.【Methods】 60 SD rats were randomly and equally divided into three groups: normal control group, without any treatment;Physiological saline control group, intraperitoneal injection of physiological saline;Liver fibrosis model group, intraperitoneal injection of carbon tetrachloride(CCl4) of 10%.After 6 weeks, the levels of serum ALT and AST were detected by automatic biochemistry analyzer,TGF-β were detected by ELISA,and gene expression were detected by real-time quantitative fluorescence PCR.【Results】 The concentration of ALT,AST and TGF-β in liver fibrosis model group were higher than that of normal/ control group and physiological saline group(P 0.01),but no significant difference was observed between the latter two groups(P 0.05).The expression of liver fibrosis related PDGF-BB,CTGF gene were obvious in model group, but not in the physiological saline group or control group.【Conclusion】 Serum TGF-β has a closely relationship with experimental rat liver fibrosis. In hepatic fibrosis rats,TGF-βlevel and the expression of PDGF-BB,CTGF gene are high.
