Fauna analysis of butterflies in Qilian region, Qinghai province

Abstract
There are 53 species of butterflies in Qilian region in Qinghai province,which belong to 6 families and 35 genera:Papilionidae (2 species),Parnassidae (8 species),Pieridae (12 species), Satyridae (12 species),Nymphalidae (10 species) and Lycaenidae (9 species). In Pieridae family 1 species is first discovered in Qinghai province.They primarily consist of Palaearctic species.
