Abstract
The color reaction of silver ion with 5-(H-acidazo)-rhodanine(HAR) in the presence of pH 7.0 NH4Ac solution in the presence of CTMAB forms a stable 2∶1 complex with molar absorptivity of 1.02×104L·mol-1·cm-1 at 580nm.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0—40μg/25mL.This method can be applied to the determination of silver in fixation solution and lake water with good results.
