Abstract
The factors impacting carbon content in fly ash of the CFB boiler burning low volatile bean coal and anthracite, such as distribution of coal granules fed,bed pressure, primary secondary air fractions, are analyzed. It is found that controlling the fraction of the particles under 100 μm in feeding coal, lowering the bed pressure, and enhancing secondary air blending can all help to decrease the carbon content in fly ash of the CFB boiler burning low volatile lean coal and anthracite.By operational optimization, the carbon content in fly ash of this CFB boiler can be controlled below 10%.
