For Taiwan modernist novels,the form of language serves as the important indicator and foundation of the authors'personal style,but also implies the critical connotation of aesthetic ideology,while the latter can easily be overlooked.The language practice in Taiwan modernist novels embodies the purified and the hybrid,but the pursuit of them is not pure formalism.On the contrary,it embodies the aesthetic response in the context which deals with the sharp dialogue and coexistence with the social reality.
