Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing quality continuous improvement in uterine leiomyoma care. Methods 86 patients from November 2008 to March 2012 in Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University were selected as study objects, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was given the routine nursing and the observation group was given the routine nursing and the nursing quality was continuously improved. The clinical efficacy and quality of life of two groups were compared, and the nursing quality assessment were analyzed. Results After nursing intervention, in the observation group, recovery was 16 cases, effective was 23 cases, the total effective rate was 90.69%; in control group, recovery was 12 cases, effective was 22 cases, the total effective rate was 79.07%, total effective rates in the two groups was high statistically significant difference(Ridit Z = 36.954, P = 0.000); the physiological, psychological, social, disease, satisfaction, and total score of two groups were improved significantly, the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05), but degree of improvement of the observation group were improved better than that of the control group(P 0.05 or P 0.01); after continuous nursing quality improvement, basic nursing, nursing safety, ward management, disinfection and isolation, nursing documents and first aid supplies were better in the observation group than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing quality improvement can improve service quality of nursing staff, improve the life quality of patients, significant effect in uterine leiomyoma care.
