Xunzi's Thought of Name-discrimination and the Relationship to His Literary Thought

The words such as discriminationand namein Xunzi pointed to discourse action and its achievements,which closed to literature in later ages.Although Xunzi's thought of name-discrimination didn't directly related to literature,it indirectly related to literature as meta-theory.His thought mainly imposed authoritarian ethical rules rather than established some expression skills as pure logical thinking.The core of his thought was right against evil,but the rightmeasure established according to political interests of dictatorships' ruler rather than on the basis of discourse and its history.Therefore Xunzi's thought of name-discrimination belong to ethics rather than logistics.
