Abstract
The indicators of technicians in top management team and the patent quantity are added to the tech-innovation factors model. Based on the tech-innovation factors model and growth-innovation model for SMEs, the empirical study on 153 Listed SMEs in China analysis shows that the more SMEs input tech staff, RD or tech improvement, the effectiveness of innovation transformation, technicians in top management team and the patent quantity is, the better tech-innovation of SMEs is. The growth of SMEs and the tech-innovation of SMEs present an inverted U-shaped relationship. Among all the tech-innovation factors, techni-cians in top management team, and the patent quantity contribute the biggest, while RD and tech improve-ment contribute less.
