Abstract
The effects of different genotypes, medium and treating concentration of 2,4-D on the callus induction and regeneration of maize mature embryo was studied by using a three-factor randomized completely block design. The results showed that the major factor which affected induction rate was genotype.Genotypes, medium and 2,4-D had significant difference or highly significant difference. The interaction effects between any two factors or three factors had significant difference except that three factors in primer callus did not have significant difference. The optimal combination for Dan988 was MN+2,4-D 2mg/L and for Tie7922 was MS+ 2,4-D 2mg/L.1mg/L KT adding in MS medium was effective to regeneration.
