Abstract

After the soil sample was digested with melting NaOH,adjusted pH,reacted with vitamin C and ammonium molybdate for 15min.The total amount of phosphorus in soil was determined by spectrophotometry in 30mm cell at the 700nm against water.Beer's law is obeyed over the range of 0- 1.00mg/L with detection limit of 0.07mg/L.The relative standard deviation is 3.1% and the recovery is in the range of 96.2-97.5%.The method is simple and reliable.
