Abstract
Based on the decoloring reaction of CPA-mA with cerium(Ⅳ) in H_2SO_4 medium,a new method for the determination of micro amount cerium is developed. The maximum absorption is at 545 nm.Beer's law is obeyed in a concentration rang of 0 to 3.2mg/L of cerium. Its molar absorptivity is1.30×10~4L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1).The method has been applied to the determination of cerium in rare earth oxides with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
