Abstract
The potassium ferrate was produced by the chemical method,and the degradation efficiency of nitrobenzene wastewater by using the ferrate is analyzed.Experiment results show that when the temperature is 30℃,the reaction time is 1.5 h and the concentration of the ferrates is about 30%,the rate of production is the highest,reaching 50%~60%.The experiment on treating nitrobenzene wastewater by using the prepared ferrate was made,and the results indicate that when the pH value is about 7,the mass ratio of potassium ferrate to nitrobenzene is 25∶1,and the reaction keeps 20 minutes,the removal rate of CODCrcan reach nearly 88%.
