Characteristic Analysis of Urban Sewage Quality of Huangxiaohe Area in Wuhan

In order to find out the characters of the sewage in Sanjingtan Sewage Treatment Plant, and to design and run the sewage treatment plant in reasonably and scientifically, the municipal sewage in Huangxiaohe district have been monitored for 12 months in continuous monitoring for 24 hours as a term each month. The results have shown that the curves of the concentration of contaminants varying with the time of day are similar. The characters of municipal sewage quality in Huangxiaohe will be affected by drainage system, drainage establishment, industrial wastewater, the character of service area and air temperature. Based on the characters of contaminants of the sewage, the processes of A2/0 or CEPT succeeding with stabilization ponds or constructed wetland may be applied to treat the sewage in Sanjingtan Sewage Treatment Plant.
