Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical diagnostic value of lowfield magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)on the tumors in cerebelˉlopontine angle region. Methods:The manifestations of low field MRI in61cases with tumors in cerebellopontine angle region documented by operation and pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Results:Of61cases with tumors in cerebellopontine angle region, acoustic neurinoma was seen in33,epidermoid cyst in9,meningioma in7,trifacial neurinoma in6,arachnoid membrane cyst in4and ependymocytoma2.Conclusion:Low field MRI possesses a higher clinical value in the diagnosis of the tumors in cerebellopontine angle region.
