Abstract
Objective To investigate the curative effect of high-voltage electrostatic in the treatment of insomnia. Methods SHENPIX super doctor (SINCE 1976, made in Japan) therapy was major way, besides psychotherapy, conveying sleep knowledge and giving drug in severe patients and so on. Auto case-control study, negative case-control study and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scale were applied in the experiment. Results 92 percent of 76 cases insomnia patients said sleep recovered to normal or got better than before, anxiety and depression were ameliorated also. 8 percent patients showed no marked effect after one to three courses. The PSQI scores of all patients decreased, the most marked one was a case decreased from 20 to 4. The least one decreased one to three. The scores in negative case-control study showed no marked change. Conclusion High-voltage electrostatic therapy was an effect way to treat insomnia, and it wsa worth to investigate and spread.
