On Confucius' Pursuit of "Tao" in his Thought of Music Education

Confucius stressed music education and regarded the ancient music as a complete cultural life.He advocated the completion of a moral character by means of music education.With the intense historical consciousness,and on his own initiative,Confucius undertook the historical mission to inherit and pass on King Wen's orthodoxy.However,there was the ontological latitude in his thought of music.Through the literature review,we later descendents may understand that Confucius has proved the Tao by means of music and made a diligent pursuit of the spiritual home.
