Abstract
According to the Chinese etymology, music is formed from drum sound.Since drum can elevate mood,music can mean happy .Confucius loves music and does deep research on it and he combines the traditional rites and music of the Western Zhou Dynasty with his benevolence thought.He puts forward that harmony of inner feelings and achievement of moral realm ultimately depend on music education,and he includes ethic in the aesthetic field.
