Application of GIS Technology in the Distribution Network Management

Abstract

With the growing of power grid area,it is difficult to manage the distribution power grid.GIS technology is a computer database management system that established to access,retrieve,store,analyze and display the data of space orientation.In this article,this technology was used in managing distribution network.Then the information of network can combines with the graphical information of geographic location to provide various kinds of needed power usage information,then the manage level can be improved.
