Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of bisoprolol(β receptor paralyzer) in the treatment of congestive heart failure of caronary heart disease. Methods:Thirty seven patients who were graded as Ⅲ to Ⅳ caronary heart disease according the criteria by NYHA were treated with digitalis, diuretic and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. After getting into a relatively stable condition, they were divided into two groups:treatment group(17 cases) and control group(20 cases, routine treatment). The treatment group received, besides routine treatment,bisoprolol(1.25 mg/d) which was increased 1.25 mg every two weeks. The max dosage was 5 mg/d.The treatment course lasted for 12 weeks. Results:The LVEDD and LVESD of the two groups before treatment significantly were reduced( P 0.01),EF was increased obviously( P 0.01),and heart rate was reduced greatly( P 0.01);After treatment, the LVEDD\,LVESD,EF,heart rate and ventricular number in the group with bisoprolol more improved significantly( P 0.01, P 0.01, P 0.01, P 0.01, P 0.05,respectively).Conclusions:Bisoprolol(β receptor paralyzer) can reduce the ventricular volume which had been recombinatively repaired and the incidence rate of ventricular arrhythmias. It can also improve EF and slow down heart rate.
