The Cultural Interpretation of Autonomous Spirit in "Lao-tzu"

Lao-tzu,as the classic book of Taoism,with its lofty meaning and profound content,has influenced Chinese culture for thousands of years.From where Lao-tzu stands,there is difference between materialism realm and utilitarianism realm.Those who are in spiritual realm can self-realize,self-succeed,be self-sufficiency,act forcefully,act without losing its institute,die with longevity.Of course,there is a kind of independent cultural spirit existing in it.It is the subjectivity that extends,enriches and enhances people’s life of spirit and life of thoughts,making Tao great,Heaven great,Earth great and People great. In this essay,I will use the methods of culturology,Hermeneutics and scholium to make a cultural interpretation about the autonomous spirit.
