Abstract
Objective To study the diagnostic value of susceptibility weighted imaging sequence in diffuse axonal injury. Methods 40 patients with diffuse axonal injury underwentT2WI,FLAIR,DWI and SWI sequence simultaneously. The different kinds of images were compared and analyzed. Results SWI in 29 cases(72.5%) showed clearly small abnormal intracer ebral hemorrhage as low signal of spots, rounds or circles or bead-like.Intracerebral hemorrhage could also be shown in 11 cases(27.5%) with T2WI sequence,in 19 cases(47.5%) with FLAIR sequence, and in 22 cases(55.0%) with DWI sequence. Conclusion SWI sequcences have higher sensibility than other sequences in diffuse axonal injury diagnosis.
