Analysis of Laozi's Dialectical Thought on Gentleness and Quietness

Laozi is a great ancient Chinese thinker. His philosophy comprehensively mamfests his outlook on nature, history, life and value. He puts forward a series of unique opinions, whose leading aspect possessing simple dialectics. This paper sets emphasis on the advantages and limitations, the roots in history and class of his dialectical thought on the policy to run a state, the way to conduct himself in social life and the practice of asceticism.
