Abstract
There are 43 species of 37 genera of 28 families of the rare and endangered plants in Meizhou,Guangdong Province,of which leaf of 29 species,flower of 19 species and fruit/seed of 22 species are considered as being of high ornamental value;now there are 5 species of extensive application,11 introduced and cultivated species,27 species in the wild environmnt.The paper discusses their leaf,flower,fruit(seed),shape in tree or herb ornamental characteristics;by the analysis of the current situation and perspective of the resources,some suggestions about how to rationally exploit them are put forward.
