Abstract

In foreign countries,research and definition of the core sports periodicals of the humanities and social sciences are based on the theories of bibliometrics and by using methods of index statistics,abstract statistics and expert recommendation.With these methods,twenty sports periodicals were chosen as core sports periodicals.This paper analyzes focal points and trends of periodicals of the humanities and social sciences abroad by applying the methods,procedures and results.
