Abstract

Objective:[WT5BZ]To determine the changes of platelet activating factor(PAF) in rats after complete cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.[WT5HZ]Methods:[WT5BZ]After given complete cerebral ischemia for 10 min and reperfused for 1,3,6 and 72 h( n =6,respectively),rats were killed and their blood PAF concentrations were measured with high performance thin-layer chromatography.[WT5HZ]Results:[WT5BZ]3h after reperfusion, rats'blood PAF concentration was significantly higher than that of controls ( 1.61 ±0.56 μg·L -1 vs 1.05±0.31 μg·L -1 , P 0.05),After 6h,PAF concentration reached the highest (1.90± 0.61 μg·L -1 , P 0.01),and after 72 h,it was still higher than controls, too (1.46±0.31 μg·L -1 , P 0.05).[WT5HZ]Conclusion:[WT5BZ]PAF may play certain role in the pathologic process of cerebral ischemia.
