Abstract

The Third-generation central leading body with Jiang Zemin as the key figure has inherited and promoted Deng Xiaoping’s diplomatic thoughts, upheld independent and peace-oriented diplomatic policies, raised highly the banner of peace, development and cooperation, formed new diplomatic ideas in accordance with the characteristics of the times, and created a new diplomatic era aiming at seeking peace and development.
