Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of early comprehensive rehabilitation therapy to neurological functional recovery in patients with craniocerebral injury, and explore the best way to treat patients with traumatic brain injury, so as to provide reference for clinical work. Methods Patients with craniocerebral injury in our hospital from June 1, 2010 to June 1, 2013 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into two groups, with 230 cases in each group. Patients in the observation group received the conventional medicine therapy combined with early comprehensive rehabilitation, while patients in the control group received conventional medicine therapy only. All patients were evaluated in the activity of daily living at the time of admission and the time of discharge. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 75.22%, significantly higher than 57.83% of control group(P 0.05). The ADL score after therapy was significantly higher than that before therapy in both groups(P 0.05), and the ADL score in observation group after therapy was significantly higher than that in control group after therapy(P 0.05). Conclusions For patients with traumatic brain injury, early comprehensive rehabilitation therapy can not only significantly promote neurological functional recovery, but also can reduce the complications. Early comprehensive rehabilitation therapy has positive significance, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
