Abstract
Objective To study the effects of Bax in 293 cell apoptosis induced by cadmium chloride with RNAi.Methods Cells were incubated with CdCl_2 after siRNA transfection. The expressions of Bax were detected by RT-PCR and western blot, the rates of apoptosis were measured by flow cytometry(FCM) and the activities of cells were measured by MTT.Results The apoptosis rates of 293 cells treated with 30μM CdCl_2 were higher than those of the control group accompanied by increased expressions of Bax.siRNA-Bax could inhibit those changes but negative control and transfection agent couldn't.Conclusion Bax is a key role during cadmium chloride induced 293 cells apoptosis.
