Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of small incision cataract surgery and phacoemulsification. Methods:Retrospective analysis of our hospital in January 2008 to December 2010 admitted 160 patients(160 eyes)patients, respectively, sutureless small incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation in cataract phacoemulsification. The clinical data of intraocular lens implantation and visual acuity, postoperative complications were compared.Rusults:Small incision non-phacoemulsification and phacoemulsification had no significant differences in effect, but more safely, economicai and practical for the well-off period of cataract and cataract hard core. Conclusion:The curative effect between the two kinds of operation mentioned above are almost the same and have no markable difference(P0.05).The former is simple and convenient in operation and economical which is suitable for the basic hospitals.
