The New Development of the Concept of Validity in Psychometrics

Abstract

This article reviews three developmental stage concerning the concept of validity in psychometrics,and analyzed the current development——construct validity.The concept of validity has a dynamic and endless process.With the abundance of the content,research method has increasingly diversified.Construct validity can offer evidence to sustain the interpretation of test scores.Through an all-round realization to the concept of validity,we can find the potency and nature of the test from a broader perspective.
