Abstract
Objective:To compare the effect of rotatory reduction manipulation plus traction with traction alone in lumbar disk herniation. Method: The traction group in 21 cases used the ATA-ⅡD automatic traction bed.The manipulation and traction group,ATA-ⅡD traction bed after rotatory reduction manipulation in 21 cases.Effects after six weeks and twelve weeks. Result: 57.14% cases of the traction group showed effective, and 85.71% cases of the rotatory reduction manipulation plus traction group. There was significant difference between the two groups( P 0.05). 52.38% cases of the traction groups, 80.95% cases of the rotatory reduction manipulation plus traction group showed good result at 12th week( P 0.05). Conclusion: Rotatory reduction manipulation plus traction are more effective than traction alone.
