A Preliminary Report on the Loss of Forest Resources Caused by Consecutive Snow and Freezing Weather in Shaanxi

Abstract

Investigation methods and range of places on the devastation of forest resources in Shaanxi caused by consecutive snow and freezing weather in the earlier of 2008 were introduced.Preliminary results indicated the relations between the extent of devastation and tree species,site condition and management measures.Some measures for prevention of devastation of snow and freezing weather in the future were put forward.
