Abstract

From January 12 to February 20 in 2008,Guilin city and counties subjected to the rare chilling icy rain and snow freezing extreme weather event.The traffic,electricity,communication especially agriculture suffered serious disasters.Longest duration times,low average temperature,widespread and strong destruction of power are the main features.By concluding the characteristics of the extreme weather event and analyzing the agriculture disaster situation,some guidance to the agriculture production are put forward.
