Abstract

It is first put forward in the Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China that reform and opening up can develop China,which has evolved from socialism can develop China.Its proposition is based not only on historical reasons but also on the national conditions and the requirement of the times.Such a scientific thesis has the distinct quality of the era and manifests our party's deep understanding of the laws on socialism with Chinese characteristics as well as the sober and firm belief in the way to a powerful nation through reform and opening up.
