Clinical study of Jianpi Huoxue Decoction on Chronic atrophic gastritis

Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Jianpi Huoxue Decoction on chronic atrophic gastritis. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with chronic atrophic gastritis were divided into two groups. In treatment group (n=86) Jianpi Huoxue Decoction was taken orally a dose every day and in control group (n=34) Weimeisu 0.8g was taken three times every day. In both groups the therapeutic course is three months. Results The total effective rate (96.5%) were significantly higher in treatment group than those in control group (70.6%, P0.01). Conclusions Jianpi Huoxue Decoction can produce reverse effect on metaplasia of intestinal epithelium of gastric mucosa and heterohyperplasia.
