Some Thoughts on Tourism Development after the Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan

This paper points out that impacts of Wenchuan Earthquake on China's tourism are grave and multiple,and a scientific post-quake plan for tourism development is necessary and crucial.The re- construction cannot be considered simply as restoration of the past,but an opportunity for policy reposition and adjustment.Tourism rejuvenation needs cooperation of all related sectors while market startup may depend on effective products,and both government and enterprise should work for the building long- standing mechanism of crisis management.
