Traceability System for Meat Products under Food Safety Circumstance

Food safety has roused global attention.In order to strengthen food safety management,many countries are developing food traceability systems.However,with the increasing attention to food safety,food safety status in our country is becoming more and more serious.Therefore,a traceability system must be constructed to guarantee meat product safety.Based on the analysis of meat products traceability system implemented in other countries,technology required in the traceability system and suited for China's situation is put forward.The requirement analysis of traceability system is made,by which a traceability information system functional model is constructed.Finally,the trend and direction for the development of traceability system is pointed out;possible problems are discussed and suggestions are provided,which may provide some reference for the implementation of traceability system in China.
