Aacestor-adoration of Current Tujia People in the Area between Hunan and Hubei Province

Ancestor-adoration is one form of primitive religions.It is a compounded evolution of totem-adoration and soul-adoration,(prehistoric people's group will,an important and effective power to produce,and had a significant influence on man's civilization history).It is Tujia people's long tradition to adore the nature,the ghosts and the wizards,and their ancestors.The adoration to the family forefather of current Tujia people in the area between Hunan and Hubei province is the end-result of Tujia people from totem-adoration for Ba snake and white tiger to the adoration for tribe leaders and then to ancestor-adoration in modern civilized age.Their ancestor￣adoration is passed down from their forefathers,yet it is combined with something new of our time and our culture.
