On the Path and Strategy of Constructing the Modern University System with Chinese Characteristics

The construction of modern university system with Chinese characteristics should comply with both common law compliance of higher education,but also the reality conditions of China.In theory,how to improve the internal and external governance structure of university,reconstruct the relationship between university,government and society,realizing the academic autonomy and academic freedom,and improve the scientific management system is the macroscopic path construction of modern university system with Chinese characteristics;But in practice,how to improve the internal governance structure of university,promote the university statutes construction,realize the optimization of external governance structure,including the university administration,government decentralization,promote the evaluation steering mechanism innovation and the university board system reform and improvement still remains a great challenge.
