Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the results of Treponema pallidum positive serum single antibody including three antibodies(anti-TP15,anti-TP17,and anti-TP47),and to discuss the relationship between the results and cardiolipin(diphosphatidyl glycerol) reagin.METHODS Detecting T.pallidum positive serum by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) with established anti-TP15,anti-TP17,and anti-TP47,respectively,and then, confirmed by TPPA,the titer of anticardiolipin reagin was measured by rapid plasma reagin test(RPR),simultaneously.RESULTS The disagreement between three autibodies and ELISA was 15.2%,3.3% and 5.1%,respectively,and distribution of their antibody intensity was different. There was no correlation between the value of OD of ELISA and antibody intensity in T.pallidum particle agglutination test(TPPA).The difference was significant in comparison to the value of OD of these anti-TPs between negative and positive RPR.CONCLUSIONS The disagreement is not the same between these three antibodies and ELISA.There is no correlation between the value of OD of ELISA and antibody intensity in TPPA.The detection rate of RPR is 47.1%,The value of OD in RPR positive group is lower than that in RPR negative group when these three antibodies are positive.
