Abstract

Objective:Tosurveycurative effectsof KangFuYan capsule through enema and oral administration in treating pelvic inflammation. Methods: All 120 patients were randomized into the observation group and the control group, 60 cases each group, both groups accepted intravenous dripping of cephalosporins antibiotics and metrionidazole or tinidazole. The observation group were given with KangFuYan capsule, three pills each time, three times per day, orally; at the same time, retention enema of KangFuYan capsule, ten pills, dissolved into warm salty water, 100 mL, morning and evening. Seven days were one course of the treatment, therapeutic effects were assessed after one course of the treatment. Results: Cure rate of the observation group was 80.00%, higher than 53.33% of the control group, the difference was notable(P0.05); total effective rate of the observation group was 98.33%, superior to 73.33% of the control group with remarkable difference(P0.05). There was no obvious adverse reaction during the treatment. Both groups were followed for six months, there were four cases relapsed in the observation group(6.67%) and 13 cases in the control group(21.67%), the difference was significant(P0.05). Conclusion: Oral administration and enema of KangFuYan capsule are effective in treating pelvic inflammation with low recurrence rate.
