Abstract
The high-temperature Ti-Zr-Ni-Cu amorphous brazing filler metal component was designed and prepared successfully with the technique of single roller rapid quenching, aiming at the high-temperature brazing demand of Si3N4 ceramic. The wettability of Ti-Zr-Ni-Cu amorphous and crystal brazing filler metal on Si3N4 ceramic with the same composition was analyzed. It was found that the crystal brazing filler metal can wet the Si3N4 ceramic, while the amorphous lost efficacy because of the oxidation in poor vacuum experiment condition. The wettability of amorphous filler metal was superior to that of the crystal filler metal in fine vacuum experiment condition of 5×10-3 Pa. Ti40Zr25Ni15Cu20 amorphous filler metal exhibited the best wettability on Si3N4 ceramic as the amorphous filler metal was investigated.
