Abstract

Listening strategies consist of three categories:meta-cognitive strategies,cognitive strategies and sociaL/affective strategies.From a cognitive perspective,the process of listening comprehension involves three processes:perception,parsing and utilization.This article aims at exploring listening problems listeners often encounter and the application of listening strategies in listening teaching and learning.
