ANALYSIS OF THE EQUILIBRIUM OF THE ADJUSTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURE AND THE INTERACTION AMONG DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES IN CHINA

Equilibrium in industrial structure is a major goal in industrial structure readjustments.An empirical analysis is made in this paper of the relative proportions of the primary,secondary and tertiary industries during the industrial structure readjustments in China based on the economic data from 1978 to 2004,and the conclusion is that equilibrium in industrial structure is largely realized.However,the interaction among the three major industries is not good enough,and this paper proposes the fundamental orientation in the work of industrial structure readjustment in China in its 11th five-year plan period.
