Abstract
In the early 1930s,with the growing national crisis,the thought of Salvation heated up,and the scientific movement rose quietly in China.The Chinese Scientific Development Association sketched up the aims,principles and ultimate goals,and played the role of standard-bearer.The Science Society of China,the Chinese Natural Science Society and other scientific societies actively cooperated and dedicatedly participated to pulled the movement further.Scientific movement contributed to the climax of science popularization education,and achieved good results.However,there also existed some shortcomings,which indicated that the improvement of scientific literacy of the public is not easy and the Science popularization still has a long way to go.
