Population Diversities of Soil Fungi from Flower plants in Liaoning Province

Abstract

In order to understand the population structure and distribution characteristics of fungal species in rhizosphere soil of flower plants, the author investigated and collected 140 rhizosphere soil samples in the fields of 7 flower grown fields of Lingyuan, Kaiyuan, Dawa, Zhuanghe, Donggang, Xiongyue and Liaozhong regions of Liaoning Province during May and October in2011 and 2012. Soil diluting plate and soil particle plated methods were used to isolate the fungi. 31 fungal species belonging to 20 genera were obtained. Among them, 4 species in 3 genera belong to zygomycetetes, 2 species in 1 genus belongs to ascomycetes, while 25 species in 16 genera are anamorphic fungi. Some of them are important pathogens of flower plants, such as Fusarium moniliforme, Fusarium solani, Verticillium dahlia. The results showed that: Penicillium, Aspergillus, Trichoderma and Fusarium were the dominant population and their separation rate were respectively 25.11%, 16.48%, 16.45% and 7.41%. The results also revealed the population structure and distribution characteristics of fungal species in rhizosphere soil of flower plants.
