Abstract

Objective Determine the content of the trace elements of Artemisia argyi from different origin, and offer data for the study of moxibustion materials. Methods Process the drugs by microwave digestion, remove acid, dilute with water, then determine the content of the trace elements of Artemisia argyi from different origin by ICP-MS.Results The highest contentration of trace elements in Artemisia argyi is the Potassium, followed by calcium, magnesium and iron. The contentrations of trace elements in Artemisia argyi from different origin are similar, and the contents of the heave matels are below the national standard. Conclusion There are many inorganic nutrients in the Artemisia argyi, for example,Potassium,Calcium,Magnesium,Iron, and so on.From the perspective of trace elements, for either per or external use,Artemisia argyi is security from different origins is secure.
