Clinical efficacy and safety of Ceftazidime Injection in children with bacterial lower respiratory infection

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Ceftazidime Injection in Children with bacterial lower respiratory infection.Methods:Cefoperazone/Sulbactam sodium(Sulperazon) as a control drug and 180 cases of children tested in randomized controlled trials.98 cases of the test group given Ceftazidime 60 mg/(kg·d) were intravenous infused twice, 82 cases of the control group given Sulperazon 50 mg/(kg·d) were intravenous injected twice, regimens for 7 days.Results:The efficiency of the test group and control group were 92.86% and 90.24%.The bacterial clearance rate of the test group was 88.24%, it was higher than the control group(85.94%).Adverse effect rate of the two groups were 7.14% and 7.32%, there was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Ceftazidime Injection has a good efficacy and safety for treatment of bacterial lower respiratory infection in children, there is a high clinical value.
