Abstract
Myocardial dysfunction is a common complication in patients with sepsis. The detailed pathophysiology of sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction still remains unclear. In recent years, study shows that mitochondrial dysfunction and circulating myocardial depressant factor(TNF-α,IL-6,ET-1)regulation plays an important role.In addition, the underlying mechanisms of myocardial dysfunction include nitric oxide, reactive oxygen species damage, role of Toll-like receptors, cell apoptosis and etc..Here is to review the pathophysiology of sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
